The Activity Log referenced in this help page can be accessed from the Data menu of Allpro Insulator as shown below, or from the Estimates Form’s Action Menu.

The Activity Log contains 5 Tabs: QB Connectivity LOG (QBE Only), Estimate Progress Log, Price Manipulation Log, Print/Expot/Email Log, and Email/Text Alerts Log.  We’ll cover each in detail, from left to right. 

 

QB Connectivity Log

The QB Connectivity Logs activity within Allpro Insulator for any status changes with regards to sending to QuickBooks. When a QB Status is changed on the Estimates Form or the QB Ready List the action will be logged in the QB Connectivity Log. 

From the log, the specific customer and estimate information can be accessed through a right-click or Launch menu.

The log can be filtered and sorted in order to gather specific needed information and export to PDF or Excel for printing.

 

Estimate Progress Log

The Estimate Progress Log is linked to the progress field on the Estimates Form as shown below: 

When the Estimate Progress is updated, comments can be added to the record. The log will track any change in the Estimate Progress field and write to the log. The Estimate Progress field can be used as a supplement to Job Status/Package Status or instead of these other statuses.

Form the log, the specific customer and estimate information can be accessed through a right-click or Launch menu.

The log can be filtered and sorted in order to gather specific needed information and export to PDF or Excel for printing.

 

Price Manipulation Log

The Price Manipulation Log writes activity to the log based on specific pricing changes to an Estimate. If Custom Markup/Discount, Profit Margin or PO Adjustment is made to an Estimate, the changes will be added to the log for record. The information for a specific Estimate can be viewed via the PM Log tab on the Estimates Form, however the Price Manipulation Log located in the Activity Log has information for changes to All Estimates.

From the log, the specific customer and estimate information can be accessed through a right-click or Launch menu.

The log can be filtered and sorted in order to gather specific needed information and export to PDF or Excel for printing.

 

Print / Export / Email Log

The Print/Export/Email Log will log anytime a report is printed, exported or emailed from within Allpro Insulator. This log will also keep track of any email sent out of Allpro Insulator using Email Draft triggers.  From the log, the related customer and estimate information can be access from the right-click or Launch Menu.

From the Report Master (E) Dialogue, which is opened from the Estimates Form, each time a report is printed, exported or emailed, the log will track each instance. The log will not track a view of a report.

From the Scheduled Jobs Form, the use of Quick Sheets to mass-send Job Sheets, each singular Job Sheet printed/emailed/exported will be tracked within the log.

 

Email/Text Alerts Log

The Email/Text Alerts Log logs email and text alerts generated by Allpro Alerts.  From the log, the related customer and estimate information can be access from the right-click or Launch Menu.
